The Volunteers in Medicine – Lake Saint Louis provides free primary medical care to low income adults residing in St Charles, Warren, Lincoln and Montgomery counties who have no health insurance.
Mission:
To serve the medical needs of St. Charles, Lincoln and Montgomery County residents who are not covered by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance and who meet federal 200% poverty guidelines.
As the mission reflects, we are committed to assisting this large, underserved population. Our professional and clerical volunteers provided 1125 hours of service to the VIM clinic in 2012.
Services:
The following are some of the services provided:
1. Physcian office visits and general physicals exams
2. Referral for further testing such as labratory or x-rays based on the physicians' assesment
3. Referrals to specialist
Clinic Hours:
Tuesdays 9am to 1pm
Thursdays 9am to 1pm
Patients are seen by appointment only and may be made by calling the clinic at 636-561-3133
